Friday 8.12.11 WOD

"We want to wish Alston good luck at Texas Tech. Continue to work hard in and out of the box."

Warm Up:

1 x HQWU

5-10 reps at each station

"Fight Gone Bad"

Three rounds of:

Wall-ball (20/14#), 10 ft target (Reps)

Sumo deadlift high-pull (75/55#) (Reps)

Box Jump, 20" box (Reps)

Push-press (75/55#) (Reps)

Row (Calories)

In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute. The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. On call of "rotate", the athletes must move to next station immediately for best score. One point is given for each rep, except on the rower where each calorie is one point.

I want to encourage everyone to make this one today. It is important to prepare for Fight Gone Bad 6 by learning the mental approach to this WOD. This is done by actually going through it multiple times and learning different strategies from others who have gone before you. Great job by everyone this morning. Ladonnah, way to work and push yourself. Your attitude is a great attribute to this gym. Alston, you will be missed.
