“You can’t out exercise poor nutrition”, we have all heard this statement in some form or fashion. Did you also know that your workouts are 3 x harder with poor nutritional lifestyles.
You need to know that nutrition is not about following a diet. Proper nutrition is a lifestyle. Don’t try to fool yourself into thinking that you can get proper nutrition without altering your lifestyle. There is no easy answer or magic bullet. Only education and consistently sound choices every day will sustain a lifestyle of proper nutrition. Nutrition also shouldn’t become an obsession that inhibits your daily life. Everyone lets loose from time to time and shares some birthday cake or ice cream with friends. Finding the happy medium is the key to achieving your goals, and we want to help you find that medium. Start by allowing us to help you kick your new lifestyle through education and practice.
When you look at the CrossFit Fitness Pyramid, the foundation is nutrition. Dialing in your nutrition is a vital component in achieving optimal health, weight and performance goals. That is why we have partnered with Blueprint Nutrition and Nicole Aucoin, a Registered Dietitian, to provide you with a nutrition program that has proven success. Nicole has worked with over a thousand clients, games athletes and CrossFit affiliates all over the world.
We want to help with your nutrition journey and our first 4 week Fit4Life Nutrition Challenge will kick start it for you.
